Dragon Medical comes with a standard headset/microphone which uses 3.5 mm plugs to connect to the computer. Unfortunately, they use the computers sound chip which is normally optimized for music, not voice recognition.
You can achieve much better accuracy by upgrading to a USB based headset. USB headsets have built in sound systems which have been optimized for voice recognition. All of the microphone/headsets listed below are USB based systems.
